CARLISLE ChannelDry EPS: The solution for wet deck roof installations, October 2017

The 2” ChannelDry EPS layer allows Carlisle to offer warranted roof installations for up to 20 years over newly poured lightweight structural concrete, as well as re-roof installations over normal weight structural concrete. The use of ChannelDry in conjunction with one-way and two-way relief vents allows the installation of the roof system to begin upon structural cure of the concrete. When the open channels on the bottom side of the board are combined with the vent layout, moisture and vapor pressure is released thus allowing drying of the deck to continue. ChannelDry has a 25 PSI density and is compatible with mechanically fastened, ballasted, and adhered applications. Additional layers of an approved insulation board may be used above the ChannelDry layer.
