Flexible FAST HFO Dual Tanks contain a hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) blowing agent that is widely recognized as the most environmentally friendly option available, drastically reducing Global Warming Potential (GWP). Offering an eco-friendly solution that provides increased performance makes the next generation of Flexible FAST Dual Tanks an ideal option for new construction and re-roofing projects.

As of January 1, 2021, Canada and several states in the U.S. (Washington, California, Colorado, New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maryland) have implemented phase-out dates for high-GWP blowing agents in low-pressure polyurethane foams and adhesives. Many other states have active rulemaking in progress.

Flexible FAST Dual Tanks utilizing the HFO blowing agent provides improved adhesion, coverage rates, string time, and cell structure. VOC-free Flexible FAST HFO Dual Tanks are the most recent example of Carlisle’s dedication to provide environmentally friendly products. Moving from an HFC to an HFO blowing agent is a critical step in minimizing the climate impact of the commercial roofing industry.

When specifying projects that utilize a two-component urethane adhesive, ensure that your selected insulation or membrane adhesive utilizes an HFO or water-based blowing agent that provides low GWPs and Zero ODPs.
